Half Day Ride

Service Description

Tentative Itinerary: Arrive at Skyline by 9:45 to fill out paperwork and check out the ranch. At 10:00 am we will get saddled up and head out on a trail into the Absaroka-Beartooth Mountains in the Gallatin National Forrest. After about 1.5 hours of riding across rivers, dense forests, and mountain meadows, we will arrive at Rock Island Lake. Individuals can enjoy the provided sack lunch and explore the lake. Time is allotted to enjoy the lake before riding back to the ranch. Minimum of two participants. Approximant time: 4 hours Includes: horse, guide, sack lunch, and drinks Sack lunches includes a sandwich, homemade cookies, chips, nuts or trail mix, fresh fruit, a wet wipe, and a napkin. In addition, clients can pick desired beverages from a cooler filled with a wide assortment of water, Gatorade, and soft drinks. Gluten-free and vegetarian lunches are available upon request. This ride is suitable for all riding experiences and ages (5+). Skyline has amazing horses for all individuals. Riders will be matched with their horses based on age, weight, experience level, and personality. This adventure is perfect for the whole family. Minimum of two participants. The price of the trip includes 4% resort tax. The state of Montana does not have sales tax.

Cancellation Policy

Accommodations: Lodging reservations are non-refundable within 14-days of the check-in date. To receive a full refund, please call our office or email at least two weeks prior to reservation. Full payment for horseback riding and fishing experiences is due at the time of booking. 50% of the payment is a non-refundable deposit. Non-refundable deposits can be applied to a rescheduled trip the following season. Camping Trips: For pack trips, a non-refundable deposit of 50% is due at the time of booking with the remaining balance due upon arrival at Skyline Guest Ranch.
