Frequently Asked Questions
What does a day trip consist of?
We generally meet the clients at the designated trailhead between 8:00-8:30 a.m. This can be adjusted to fit your group's schedule. At the trailhead, we will have a short safety and policy briefing before setting our on horseback into the backcountry of Yellowstone. We will ride about 1.5–2.5 hours, away from the crowds and other fishermen to the part of the stream that you will want to fish. Skyline provides a hearty sack lunch, soft drinks, and bottled water. After a day of fishing, riding, and exploring we will return in the evening to get back to the trailhead around 6:00-7:00 p.m. A great day!
