Skyline Guest Ranch is collaborating with Amanda Tonagel Photography to offer a luxury all-inclusive, photographers' retreat in the Beartooth Mountains of southeast Montana! This exclusive retreat combines the adventure and relaxation of a Skyline vacation package with four portrait style planned photoshoots, personalized experiences, and networking opportunities! We are excited to welcome photographers to visit the ranch for four days of horseback riding, fishing, hiking, sightseeing, and of course- photography! This retreat is limited to seven photographers. Includes: - Private Accommodations at Skyline Guest Ranch - All Meals -Full-Day Horseback Ride & Fly-fishing Trip in Yellowstone National Park -Four Planned Portrait Styled Photoshoots in the Beartooth Mountains -Photographer Headshot Swap Opportunity -Full Itinerary of unique activities and experiences including fly-fishing lessons, horseback riding, kayaking, ATVing, hiking, etc. -No Formal Education Components, just Collaborative Learning *Guide gratuities, alcoholic beverages, and airport transportation are not included This retreat is intended for experienced photographers looking for portfolio-building and networking opportunities while also having a unique luxury travel experience alongside others in the equine and western lifestyle photographer world. There will be no formal educational proponent or training. Sharing of knowledge and collaborative learning is strongly encouraged! A Facebook page will be created for participants to get updated information and build a community with other participants prior to arrival at the ranch. By participating in this photographer retreat, you agree that the images captured during the retreat may be used in your professional portfolio, shared on your social media profiles, and displayed on your personal website for promotional and educational purposes. However, you are expressly prohibited from selling these images as stock photos or using them for any commercial purposes. Furthermore, these images may not be utilized to promote your own educational workshops or retreat ventures. ​If you have a spouse or partner hoping to join for the meals and activities please reach out for pricing and information. It is suggested that participants use Cody Shuttle Services to arrange airport shuttles directly to the ranch from one of the following three airports. Private and group transfers are available.

Cancellation Policy

Accommodations: Lodging reservations are non-refundable within 14-days of the check-in date. To receive a full refund, please call our office or email at least two weeks prior to reservation. Full payment for horseback riding and fishing experiences is due at the time of booking. 50% of the payment is a non-refundable deposit. Non-refundable deposits can be applied to a rescheduled trip the following season. Camping Trips: For pack trips, a non-refundable deposit of 50% is due at the time of booking with the remaining balance due upon arrival at Skyline Guest Ranch. We recommend clients purchase travel insurance for pack trips. Photography Retreat: Payment for the retreat will occur in two parts, an initial payment of 50% is due upon booking in the form of a nonrefundable deposit. The remaining payment will be due on July 1, 2024. In the event that a participant cannot attend, the nonrefundable deposit can be applied to a future booking with Skyline Guest Ranch. Refunds will not be offered for scheduled changes or cancellations due to weather. We reserve the right to adjust the itinerary in an effort to align activities with the best weather conditions.
